Cherry: Prunus necrotic ringspot

Biology

Prunus necrotic ringspot is a viral disease affecting most cultivated Prunus species. Leaves may show various symptoms including brown, sunken, necrotic spots; chlorotic (yellowish to white) blotches or other patterns; or dark rings etched on the leaf. The necrotic spots may drop from the leaf, giving it a “shotholed” appearance. The disease is spread to healthy trees via infected pollen and by grafting
